About

Hi there! My name is Jess, a nail artist with a love for science, beauty, and stories that cross continents.
My journey began in China, took a detour through Australia (where I studied pharmaceutical science and fell in love with creating beauty instead of just analyzing it!), and led me to Shanghai’s glamorous cosmetic labs. There, I spent years crafting eyeshadows and foundations for top brands—but something was missing.

Then came nails. Frustrated by overpriced, underwhelming salon experiences in Shanghai, I turned my dining table into a DIY nail studio. Let’s just say my first attempts were… humbling. But after a few years of practising and an intense Japanese-manicures masterclass (think delicate art and surgical precision!) and surviving three years of long-distance with my Belgian boyfriend (thanks to COVID), I landed in Belgium in 2024. Here, I fused my Asian expertise with European flair, working in local salon to refine my speed and adapt to minimalist, timeless styles.

Now? I run a cozy home studio where science meets art. Every set I create blends Japanese meticulousness with European elegance, using lab-grade sterilised tools and top-tier products. Picture this: sipping coffee in my sunlit space, enjoying beautiful garden view, while I transform your nails into tiny masterpieces. No rushed hands, no shortcuts—just you, a calm vibe, and nails so flawless they’ll make you smile for weeks. After all, if I can navigate lab formulas, visa paperwork, and DIY nail disasters, your perfect manicure is a breeze.
